As seen in my analysis of the Kooks album Inside in/ Inside out, I believe that using a monochrome background will be able to show the simplicity of our band as well as allowing us to focus on the denotations of our image such as showing our band playing their instruments or on a live performance. As we know from our research that this is what the Indie genre want to see.
As seen in my analysis of the Kooks album Inside in/ Inside out, I believe that using a monochrome background will be able to show the simplicity of our band as well as allowing us to focus on the denotations of our image such as showing our band playing their instruments or on a live performance. Additionally I feel that we need to focus on the connotations of our bands name, '28 North' and the album title 'A long walk home' as these play an important role in how we can appeal to our target audience. I think that one of our shots for either our front of back cover should consist of a performance like image such as our band members standing holding or playing their instruments also I feel it one of the covers should hold an image that is incorporated into the title 'A long walk home'. This could either be our band walking alongside of dark, unlighted walkway or a lonely road where the audience can see that the image plays in with the title.
