LiveType

Livetype

I am going to look at 'Livetype' to see if it would help in making our music video titles look more realistic. Seems like it will. It seems like a great product, I have done some research on it and have found that "It can import any standard media files and can create text tracks whose style can be meticulously specified. In the canvas, the contour that the text follows can be edited, so that the titles can be on curved or shaped. I believe this will be useful in creating effective credits that can be put onto our music video.

Editing Techniques

Editing Techniques-Split Screen

In our music video we are thinking of using the editing technique of split screen which will allow us to show our whole band surrounded by different sceanries. Also this shows our indie band as being different and standing out from the mainstream with is a huge feature of the indie genre.

We have developed this idea from the Plain White T's song Hey There Deliah which shows the band in a three way split screen which can add many features to our narrative.
