Progress Report

Today we have taken photos for our digipack that we will use for our front cover, back cover and our inlays. We have taken multiple images which has given us a collection to choose from so we should not have to go out and take photos again. Also this has allowed us to see how we could edit our images on photoshop.

Progress Report

Today we went around Cambridge taking photos for our filming locations in Cambridge. These have given us ideas about where we could film and how we could edited our video to highlight certain aspects in Final Cut. Additionally we have take photos of where we could be placed for our digipack photos, this has also allowed us to see what editing effects we could use on photoshop to make our digipack look authentic.

Filming Problems - The Band

As our artist is a band our whole group will have to participate in the film even though most of us can not play instruments effectively. We could however use people who could play the instruments used however we will that we all would like to be in our film and using other people would mean we would have to accommodate their timetable as well as our own.

With the point of our band not being able to play their instruments effectively we are planning on filming our band in separate places which will take the focus off the band as a whole and more on the individual as well as the narrative.

Filming locations

We are looking to film in an ordinary location which our audience can relate to. This will most likely be in a city or large town with some urban areas. However we are also thinking of filming our band in different locations such as in a building, home, in the street and possibly in a field or rural area. This will us to show multiple aspects of our band as well as showing our band together with their musical skill.

We are looking to film in Cambridge city centre as well as in and around Wills house as this will us to film the rural setting as well as the home scene. We are thinking of trying to use a building in Cambridge such as the picture house or just a building with easy access.
